Standard UK Delivery
Orders are processed and dispatched within 1-3 working days. We use second class postage via Royal Mail as standard, so please expect your delivery in approximately a week from ordering, excluding Bank Holidays and the Christmas period.
We are currently not able to post to Northern Ireland, the EU or elsewhere in the world. Yet!
Local Collection/Delivery
Orders can be collected from us in Dinas Powys, Vale of Glamorgan. Free local delivery is also available to those living in Dinas Powys, Penarth, Sully or Barry, and other similarly distanced addresses at our discretion. We reserve the right to change this at any time. Please select the pickup option at the checkout then use the Contact Us page to provide your local delivery address and any important delivery instructions. e.g. a safe spot for me to leave your parcel, location details if it’s hard to find.
Pre-Orders
We may from time to time offer the opportunity to pre-order out of stock or new items, and there may be a short wait while we create stock. We will keep you updated via social media on estimated shipping and delivery dates.
Packaging
Posted Items
To reduce the possibility of our glass products being damaged, we package each brown recyclable box carefully, using packing void materials to protect the jar and reduce any gaps. We often use repurposed cardboard void packaging from our own ingredient or glass jar deliveries. If we buy our own packing materials we will always use fully recyclable or biodegradable materials, such as starch eco-packing peanuts or card. When we repurpose other companies packaging, it may not be fully recyclable. Please check for any tape that can’t be recycled. We choose this option as it gives the packaging we receive another use before ultimately ending up in landfill. We want to do our best to be as kind to the environment as possible and reuse what we can first.
Local Delivery
We use fully recyclable kraft paper bags, and tissue paper which can be composted. All our items are glass.
Labels
Unfortunately, these are not able to be recycled as they are currently made of vinyl. As much as we would love to use paper, we use vinyl for two reasons: 1) We sell our products at outdoor markets and events, and we are therefore at the mercy of the UK weather (i.e. a high risk of rain!) which could damage the paper labels. If the ingredients list becomes damaged, we cannot legally sell the product, meaning it requires a new label. 2) All of our products are 100% anhydrous (oil and butter based), meaning if any product gets on to paper labels, it can leave marks or damage the paper causing the information on the label to be lost.
We are always evaluating what we do at Wild Human Skincare and we hope one day to find a solution to more eco-friendly kinder labels.
Returns
We hope you love your new skincare products as much as we do, but we know that sometimes people change their mind, and that’s ok. If you would like to return a product it must be in an unopened UNUSED condition. Please email us at hello@wildhumanskincare.co.uk ASAP and return within 14 days. Unfortunately, we will have to ask you to pay for the cost of the return as we cannot refund postage costs for non-faulty products.
Damaged Goods
We want to minimise any damaged products so we pack your skincare well. However, we know that sometimes a parcel can be dropped or arrive damaged. In the unlikely event that this happens, please contact hello@wildhumanskincare.co.uk within 3 days of receipt. You will be offered a replacement or a full refund. Refunds for valid claims (i.e. clearly unused, seal unbroken) will be made via the same method of payment as used to place your order and can take up to 14 days to process. Replacements will be sent out within 7 days if it is in stock. If it is out of stock, you can choose an alternative, or wait until stock has been made (we can talk this through if we find ourselves in this situation).
